Thank you for the faves.
Thanks for the favorite.
Thank you very much for the watch. I'm afraid you won't see new art posted here to dA, but by watching me you'll get journal updates telling you when new work comes up on SA. :-)
Yes, Spirityouko actually directed me here so that I could keep her up to date on anything you post on dA (journals and the like). She also wanted me to favorite a few pieces of your work since she is banned and cannot express her liking of the statements they represent herself (silly how a banned person isn't even allowed to favorite a piece they enjoy, isn't it?)

That said, I found your journal quite stirring and I do hope you continue to stand up for artists here and for jark.
That's very kind of you both to do. :-)

I guess if a person REALLY did something where they deserved to be banned (like posting obscenities for everything), they'd need protections like that. But using that in a case like this goes way beyond draconian.

I'll keep trying. A lot of people are getting apathetic, though. But I intend to keep trying, for the sake of the friends I have here.
I honestly don't see how expressing an opinion of a distasteful daily deviation would lead to one being banned myself. I don't agree that just because a piece is chosen by the staff that it should be immune to critique and "bashing". Why isn't the same privilege extended to all art? Spirityouko endured remarks that went far beyond flaming on her pieces and staff did not a thing to remedy it nor punish the commentors. Would it have been different if her pieces had been favored by staff? Is that truly fair?

I know there are those who do not like the way Spirityouko handled the situation but one must consider that she is a very passionate person and had been through a hard summer. Previous to this, she had been through surgery and a neglectful neighbor allowing his rotted tree to go so long that it fell on, and destroyed, the storage shed where she kept many of her family heirlooms and collectables. Seeing her gallery similarly destroyed for no real reason was likely the last straw for her.

In any case, I suspect this foolishness on the part of dA is likely to only get worse. I'm hoping the apathy will pass and people will stand up for their rights. I'm glad there are people such as yourself willing to stand up and to speak.
